Hi gymrat,

it has been merged with others into the treatments and side effects.

That's unfortunate. Lipoatrophy was what brought me to this forum in the first place. I can't believe CSI gets its own forum and not lipoatrophy.

Hee Hee! I awoke from a nap yesterday afternoon and logged on. I was so confused by the changes until I got a reply from Ann.
I wish Peter would have posted a notice of merges but he had his reasons not to, I guess. My assumptions are that because they have added a new one, it will keep the topics (Content) to an efficient minimum.

yes, I've been wondering about this CSI thing... I realise this site needs money but this association I do not find particularly tasteful...

Like you I think, perhaps because I experience it, that lipo should have its own forum.

On the other hand, I think that AIDS activism, though (and maybe because) it focuses mostly on the situation in the US, would benefit from the extra exposure of being included in the Living with forum. Which itself would benefit from being slightly more focused... particularly these days (now that I am at it... ::))

I am starting to have a gripe with the spell checker as I use it because english is not my language: it recognises DILDO but not LIPO??? or as you say in abridged american english: WTF?

Word has it that the appalling CSI:NY forum will be shit-canned when the HIV storyline is finished with in a couple of weeks.

By this time next month, the CSI forum will be but a distant, scary memory.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
