I have participated in that study in 2009, is good to finally see some results. I've been taking 2000 IU of Vitamin D3 every day, as I am on Viread(tenofovir) as part of my treatment. I was  told  that my vitamin D level was only 26 ng/ml. I was not told if I was given a placebo or the real vitamin D capsule. I assume that it was vitamin D as it made me a little nauseated :) Now after taking vitamin D3 for 2 years at 2000IU my levels jumped up to 50 ng/ml. I feel much better and I'm sure vitamin D will keep my bones strong.
