Diamonds, Rubies, and Bars of Gold
« on: July 15, 2008, 08:07:51 pm »
That's what I asked for.

Today, Damn Fool and I are celebrating our 21st (yes you read that right twenty first) anniversary.

Never in my wildest dreams, when I tested positive in 1985, could I have imagined my life today.

Never in my wildest dreams when I sero-convertred in 1983, (going through what so many of us experienced) could I have hoped for any kind of future.

Yet here I am.

Here we are.

He's never once blinked. He's never once shied away from the struggle.   He's been by my side every step of the way.

I'm not sure I would/could have survived without that.

So, I asked for Diamonds, Rubies, and Bars of Gold.

I mean 21 years is certainly  worthy of something isn't it?

What did I get?

I got a new BBQ!

I think I got the better deal to tell you the truth.

RAB   ;D

Congratulations RAB.  Wow, 21 years with DF.

We tested positive the same year, but I've been at it on my own.

There have been times I would have loved to have had someone just to hold on to or to help me feel more secure, whether it was real security or not.

Oh well, can't change any of that.

Now, send  DF off to Ralph's for some steaks or, even better, RIBS!

Enjoy and many happy returns.

BIGS HUGS,

Mark

(And give DF a hug for me too! ;D)

Hey Everyone

Alan--Love ya buddy and hugs back at ya.   :-*

LOL @ Robert--if I'd thought of the bag of charcoal you can bet I would've done it.   ;)

Mark--we don't have "Ralphs" here, but we did have Babyback Ribs.  Yumm!

Jan--if I stopped "whining"  it'd scare the heck out of DF.  He'd assume I had croaked or something!   :P

JRE--Happy Anniversary in advance (yep I remembered too)

Betty, Hermie, Rondrond---Thanks again guys for the well wishes.
