I am recently diagnosed and am having problems with uncaring and down right mean doctors... I need to find someone that I can feel comfortable with disclosing my past history with, and not feel shame.. I was suffering from neurosyphilis and this causes some eyebrows to raise........

I went to a urologist, Dr. Franklin Lowe, about 8 years ago and he was fine.  Don't know if he was gay, but my HIV doctor (who was gay) gave me the referral.

tel: 212.523.7790
add: 425 W. 59th St.

How has someone in this specialty taken issue with neurosyphilis issues?

Dr Luie  212-682-9203
He's very short...not very emotional but very very good at what he does.  He's been around for 25 yrs plus....
I would only recommend him for his brain....not his bedside manner.
But remember...thats what you need more with those types of problems right now over someone who you can just sit and talk nice too..
