What if we could be "forever careless?"  Because that's what I really enjoyed when I was young.  It was a luxury that I just can't afford in my present situation :(

Actually this is a cover of "Forever Young" which was done originally in the early 80's by an Australian outfit called Youth Group if I recall correctly.

Very cool song. As with almost all covers, the original is much better. I'm sure Little Steve and Papa Bear remember it too.

Because we're not sure how this goes :

http://youtube.com/watch?v=gG2Smoo0Ej4

Jane Siberry:  Calling all Angels

Santa maria, santa teresa, santa anna, santa susannah
Santa cecilia, santa copelia, santa dominica, mary angelica
Frater achad, frater pietro, julianus, petronella
Santa, santos, miroslaw, vladimir
And all the rest

A man is placed upon the steps, a baby cries
And high above the church bells start to ring
And as the heaviness the body
Oh the heaviness settles in
Somewhere you can hear a mother sing

Then it's one foot then the other
As you step out onto the road
How much weight? How much weight?
Then it's how long? And how far?
And how many times before it's too late?

Calling all angels
Calling all angels
Walk me through this one
Don't leave me alone
Calling all angels
Calling all angels
We're cryin' and we're hoping'
And we're not sure why...

And every day you gaze upon the sunset
With such love and intensity
Why it's...it's almost as if
If you could only crack the code
Then you'd finally understand what this all means

But if you could...do you think you would
Trade it in
All the pain and suffering?
Ah, but then you'd miss
The beauty of the light upon this earth
And the sweetness of the leaving

Calling all angels
Calling all angels
Walk me through this one
Don't leave me alone
Calling all angels
Calling all angels
We're tryin' and we're hopein'
But we're not sure how...

Calling all angels
Calling all angels
Walk me through this one
Don't leave me alone
Callin' all angels
Callin' all angels
We're tryin'
We're hopin'
We're hurtin'
We're lovin'
We're cryin'
We're callin'
'Cause we're not sure how this goes

Are these  saints really "angels?"

I am not a practicing Catholic, but as far as I know Saints are saints and Angels are angels. Two seperate entities   ;)

In Catholic mythology: ;)

Saints are mortals who, after death, have been entered into the Canon of Saints by the Church because:

1. They were martyrs for the faith;

or

2. They performed "demonstrable miracles" (1 during life) or (2 after death).

Naturally they have to conform to catholic notions of morality.

Angels on the other hand are supernatural immortal beings who dwell in heaven with the deity. Unlike mortals they are devoid of free choice and can only do the "will of god". Interestingly, Satan is an angel.
