THANK YOU for the information .. ... I hope Magic Johnson talks about the spectrum of hiv i.e., it is UNmanageable for many, while "manageable" for some. The disparity needs more than a casual mention.

By virtue of being on Oprah (and his own fame), what he says to America will have enormous impact to put it mildly. I guess America wants to hear that hiv is "manageable" now so I do hope he says the right things  :-\  :-\

I will have to remember to record that. I hope he says the right things too. And when is someone gonna reach out and help those in America instead of Africa?

The show will air in most markets, in their respective time zones, at 4 pm. (Local exceptions include Chicago, where it airs at 9 am, and Los Angeles, where it airs at 3 pm.) For more information, visit www.POZ.com

You put my mind at ease with this- Thanks!!!!!! I can now rest easy knowing Ms. Hofmann and Ms. Brown can negate any inaccuracies that fly out of Mr. Johnson's mouth, if any. Let's hope not  :-\

Why do you think it sucked?

Aside from Magic Johnson being the face of AIDS in America and all that bullshit, I found it a little informative and might have even learned a thing or two.

it did sort of suck.  ........ or perhaps i'm just too demanding. the words (what was said) were to the point. however the overall aesthetic was very prim and proper. all the women had perfect makeup and hair. i don't know what i'm saying. i guess because  oprah's crystalmeth show had a lotta shock value. perhaps my expectations were high  :-\

I was, um, underimpressed, but then again after being Poz 18 years, what's left?

I suppose it was good to reiterate that HIV doesn't care who it infects, tho I can hardly believe any one would not have educated themselves about HIV/AIDS by now.

If the show helps one person to think twice about safer sex then I guess it had a purpose.
