Mommy, is this global warming?

A record high of 71ºF is forecast for today. I just saw THREE people wearing tank tops on my street.

Geez, N.O.'s high is only gonna be 70 but it's overcast.

Having a pedophilial interest in Jake Gyllenhaal I watched "The day after tomorrow" last night.  That sure would be neat to see an Atlantic wave cover 3/4s of the Statue of Liberty as it made its way to wipe out NYC.  Watching a Fox TV reporter being smashed and blown away by a billboard would be quite a laugh, too.

Like I've said before I enjoy global waming because semi-tropical climes suit me and it's going to get warmer here before I die, after which the ice caps will melt so much N.O. will be permanently under water.

I'm just trying to be dramatic and start an argument.

You heartless, spineless, brainless, dickless, pickle-faced rat!!  Philadelphia is south of Canada, ain't it??

I just made that up all by myself.

With vehement malice,

Boo

P.S.  My computer weather ball says it's only 64 here but they must measure out by the airport (AKA the boonies) because it's higher than that and the sun is trying to peak through the clouds, then all bets are off.

We're currently at 83 degrees, and it's muggy, muggy, muggy. We got the AC running. There really hasn't been a winter here, in West central Florida. We just got back from downtown St.Pete. Walking around. My shirt got soaked ! ::)

No global warming here, I'm still digging out from over 6' of snow over the past three weeks and it's a balmy 18 degrees.

Time to get on a plane and go see the family in FL...Or take a fabuloso gay cruise with blind, horny, single men who just got out of prison!  ::)

Enjoy the weather while it lasts everyone, and where can I get a picture of that white mesh bikini?
When it gets hard I always listen to my favorite song of all time..........

That's just perrrfect....I leave Philly some years ago for warmer environs and this morning, in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, my house was registering 59 degrees inside and a thin sheet of ice covered my patio furniture, deck, and more.

If this isn't the world turned upside down, I don't know what is.

Nooooo!  I used to go to William and Mary, but I dropped out and moved to Richmond.

I often ask myself why I did this... move to Richmond, that is... not dropping out of school...

I didn't mind it when I lived there, but that was the mid/late-80's and there was some edge to the place.  I've really not been back there for almost (shows my age) 18 years.

It's hilarious though that Fielden's is still open... oh the stories I could tell from the summer of acid house.

Anyway, nothing is more boring than Williamsburg.  I got accepted to there AND UVA and refused them.

Please, it's not global warming. It's climate change. That phrase polls better.
Her finely-touched spirit had still its fine issues, though they were not widely visible. Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

George Eliot, Middlemarch, final paragraph
