back to work slightly concerned
« on: June 24, 2007, 11:40:06 am »
i am going back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks off and starting meds a week ago (sustiva  and kivexa).i definitely do not feel so tired as i did before meds but i noticed today at an aa meeting that  i was drifting away as people were talking to me.also found myself getting emotional which is not normal for me,not in public anyway.my job is not particularily stressful and am just worried that i may be going back too soon and not giving myself enough time to adjust,to all sorts of things.does anyone have any advice or experience ofgoing back to work after such a short time on meds.my last bloods were cd4 212 and vl 850000,graham

Grub-

Sometimes the only way to know is to plunge right into the middle of things. If you can physically do your job then stiffen your upper lip and climb back onboard. You need to restart your life eventually and might not ever feel the timing's perfect.

Just take it a day at a time.  It will take time to emotionally to reattach to your normal life.  You will find your way.

Hi Graham

I agree with the guys, just take it one day at a time and take it easy, try not to over do things on your first week back...and don't stress out about it.
