Just got off the phone with my ID doctor, 0% histo for the past 11 months took me off noxafil, 480 CD4 28%, undetectable. Dropping the Atripla for Complera. It's been 7 years since first taking antifungal medication and finally the histo is gone. I may go get a steak and a milk shake.

Short for Histoplasmosis. I had Disseminated  Histoplasmosis. It's a fungal disease.

Good ole Ohio River Fever.  I've known many from down home who came down with this.  Glad you're finally done with it.

Roddles:

Your Histo infection has always worried me more than HIV.  You've been through so much with it.  I can't even imagine.

But now it's gone, and I'd say not only should you have a steak and milkshake, you should celebrate with all kinds of debauchery.

I'm happy for you buddy.

Hey Roddles,

This is wonderful news. I know it has been a struggle, and not always an easy one.

I think this definitely calls for a rib eye and a large, chocolate shake, or maybe, vanilla.

HUGS,
