The Dutch Store
« on: October 17, 2009, 02:51:44 am »
This is clever. Enjoy.

HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened on
November 4, 1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are 150 stores all over the
  Netherlands .

Take a look at HEMA's product page. You can't order anything and it's in
Dutch, but just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.

Don't click on any of the items in the picture, just wait and see what
  happens.

This company has a sense of humor and a GREAT computer programmer

When I read the title I was really expecting to see something else sold at the Dutch Store.  Little green plants with pretty flowers and stuff.   :'(

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Funny, I  wish I knew what it said at the end?

Thanks to you and your Mom!

That's what this website is....just "viral marketing" for HEMA, a Dutch department store.  The real website, where you can buy stuff, is http://www.hema.nl/.  The statement at the end is something to the effect of 'Now you can also find the products of Hema at Hema.nl'.  They seem to have done a good job attracting attention to themselves! I like the magnifying glass starting the little fire that heats up the kettle.   :D
