Is it boring? I've not bothered to watch it. Looks dumb.

To be honest, I was so disappointed with the first season that I haven't even wasted any time with this one.  I thought it was rather boring, and the ending was quite stupid.  But that's just me (as evidenced by the love that Solo and other people with decent tastes --not you Wumpetta-- feel for the show), I don't want the opinion mafia to crucify me for having a dissenting thought, if ya know I mean :P

Jessica Lange was fabulous though.

is Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters bare asses dumb? I think not ::)

Meh!

goodness! I thought the first season was quite good, while this season... well in your word "Meh!" ;)

but I watch it right after Ghost Hunters, so it's at least 2 hrs a week that my TV isn't on MSNBC and the break is nice.

Quite possibly the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. Not the Tastykakes but tonights Episode.

I cant deal with a murderous Santa, have they no sanctity! Although I loved the "get butt raped, turn psycho Santa" backstory

Plus the constant playing of Christmas Carols in the background was fuckin weird.

For Realz that was some weird shit tonight.

but LMAO at Sister Eunice when she quipped "One step forward, two steps back"

You're right, it was quite bizarre -- but that's what keeps us watching.

And how did you like this one?  One of the best cliché "twist endings", evah.

In the top 10 of my all time fave slasher flicks!!!!! Of course it's prolly too intense for the Wumpster to have seen.

But speaking of twists, I know you lived for this one too  :P

J'adore that movie.  It totally made me fall in love with Cécile de France.  And that ending truly worked.

Another spooky film (with a "WTF ending") in my top ten: the surreal shit offered by The Descent.  I thought it'd be just another teeny bopper slasher flick, but it turned out to be smart and very well made.

Also, though not necessarily a horror flick, The Others with Ms. Kidman is actually rather nice.

I can't believe you people watch slasher movies.

Only if they're actually "high art", such as High Tension or The Others... or a campy cult film like Sleepaway Camp (you would totally live for it for reasons that I can't reveal so that I offer no spoilers).

You won't catch me watching trash like the Jason films, that Jeepers Creepers rubbish, or nihilistic shit like the Human Centipede.

I sort of watched 7 and 8 while i was doing stuff. And nothing made sense and realized I missed 6.  Yes indeed, 6 is filled with key plot points.

Frances Conroy is giving a great performance as the Angel of Death. I love the actress, I love the character. I love her suit and styling.  Creepy Dita Von Teese.   She was great last season, too.  Never got a deserved Emmy for Six Feet Under.

Oh yes, 6 was key. Frances does do a great job, she seems like a perfect angel of death. She really creeps me out but in an endearing sort of way.

I was glad to see Pepper reappear in last weeks episode.

Oh you guys got me hooked on this very different show shall we say.  The first one I watched had Adam Levine getting a BJ and sticking his arm in a door (for the last time)...Then there was that freaky little girl who apparently was sent away for cutting the ears off a baby...And then she said to a visitor - Play with me.  Or when the nuns walk into the room where the French song is constantly playing on the turntable and the patients all cower in the corner...Strange but fun. Another episode had the alien abduction and the chip is taken out of this nice looking boys neck and it gets legs and walks away!

I'll keep an eye out on FX and watch some on demand. :P

The power of Christ compelled him.

No comments on last night's episode yet, Wumpy?  Your girl Pepper had quite a lot of screen time last night.

Sing it with me now
an incredibly interesting episode - deaths, music and sing-alongs, more deaths, sex, intrigue, possession and Satan, even more deaths, and a fiery finish.

"You're out of your depth, Miss Lana Banana."

It was one of the best lines so far.  So great it was reprised as a musical number in episode 10.

I too, am feeling let down by last nights episode. and is it just me, or do they need to put the habit back on Jessica Lange. Her acting has suffered tremendously as a quiet crazy person who only kneads dough. Of course the "Name Game" thingie which was SUPERB but other than that she has been a wet fish the last few epy's/. she is going to lose the Oscar if she keeps this up.

the Oscar

The Emmy.

I think she's great as a vegetable and she was channeling Katherine Hepburn and referencing her own performance in Frances.

Actually, she was good in Frances. Change that to King Kong.

Completely unrelated, she had him for a good long time, lucky gal:

Is it just me or has this show suddenly gone down the crapper? It's a yawnfest last 2 epy's.

I think the only reason I watch is because of Heaven Evan Peters (and his underwear)..
