indirect contact but on a micro laceration
« on: August 27, 2011, 02:10:30 am »
Hi,

I read many posts about inderect contacts and the relative zero-risk for HIV.

Btw I still have a doubt about what've just happened to me:

Masturbation with an occasional partner. After that I went to have a shower, I was washing and so touching my penis (with likely some vaginal fluid still on my hands) when I felt (and likely touched) a little burning on my fraenum likely a micro-laceration got during the masturbation (without any evident sign of blood).

Between the masturbation and the contact with my penis my hands touched the bed several times.

My question is, considering the small laceration that I could have touched there is still no risk on this case?

Many thanks and my deep estimation for your service and help!!

Under absolutely no circumstances is mutual masterbation a risk for HIV

The notion of "micro lacerations" was disabused decades ago

You can not get HIV through the activities you describe, no matter what sort of spin
you put on it.

HIV is sexually spread through unprotected vaginal and anal sex. Period.
"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

clarification about indirect contacts
« Reply #2 on: September 25, 2011, 02:20:55 am »
About indirect contact, is it and how relevant the quantity of fluid and the timing?

I mean an indirect contact is considered at zero risk but my question is, if for instance i take off my condom with my hands and immediately (likely with a relevant amount of my partner vaginal fluid on) I start cleaning my penis with a tissue, it can still be considered a zero risk inderct contact even if is immediate and with a lot of vaginal fluid on my hands??

What if instead while taking off the condom by mistake something drop on your penis??
Many thanks

■Please do not start a new thread every time you have another question or thought - regardless if you think your questions are related to each other or not. It helps us to help you when you keep all your thoughts or questions in one thread and it helps other readers to follow the discussion. Additional threads will be merged.

I've merged your threads here. In the future if you have anything further to discuss please follow the rule of this site. Keep it all in this same thread as requested in the opening thread of this site.

As to your continuing concern, you are worrying needlessly. HIV is a fragile virus and the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. That's it. Use condoms for those activities consistently and you will be effectively protected.
