I don't believe I've seen Condi Rice so angry and flustered in an interview.  She use to be able to roll those lies right off without becoming frustrated.  The things every reporter always fails to mention is how Saddam was complying with inspectors.  I vividly remember the inspectors in Iraq.  They sometimes ran into a delay getting into sites, but just a short delay.  Saddam was letting them in.  I remember they found missiles that could go farther than he was allowed.  I remember seeing on the news Saddam destroying the ones that were in violation.  The inspectors were being given access and then Bush said he wasn't or not fast enough a they went in.  But, I have never once seen this mentioned or asked about on any news programs or newspaper.

Sounds like old news, I know.  But, this is so connected to events happening today.  Anyway, here's the Condi interview.

Gee I hope she has some well paying posts in Think Tanks and as a dean or something.

She's a real bullshitter.  I wonder if ANYONE could get an honest discussion going with this person or if its going to be political discourse until her grave.  I wouldn't want her as a professor, that's for sure.  She'd probably make a great manager, charged with carrying out some nasty reorganisation that is going to hurt a lot of people, and she would be the PR face of the evil doers who are going to benefit.

Honestly I'm surprised she even went on MSNBC.  She will do or say anything to protect the Bush administration, and their policies.

Absolutely! I wouldn't want her as a piano teacher either!
I saw the interview last night and was amazed at how quickly she went on the defensive; evading questions and using the same old rhetoric for invading Iraq.
After the interview a White House expert was quoted as saying that Condi was the worst Secretary of State since the formation of that position!

I feel sorry for Condileeza Rice.  She's a very intelligent woman and I feel like she got connected to the Bush presidency in an attempt to further her career and she's been apologizing for his mistakes ever since.  She's been towing the party line and if I were her I would call a spade a spade, but she's very loyal to Bush for whatever reason.  Also in this particular interview he keeps interrupting her which drives me nuts, let the woman finish talking when you ask her a question.  The other interviewer who does this is Bill O'reilly who I can't watch (nor would I want to).

Well then, she can't really be all that intelligent if she thought getting involved with Bush was a good career move. ::)

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Anderson Cooper interviewed her the other day and she came off more relaxed.

I think Lawrence O'Donnell is one of the smartest guys on TV.   I love the way he made her squirm.  It must really suck for them when someone is well informed enough,  as Lawrence is,  to call the Bushies on their BS.

This wasn't one of those softball FOX interviews that she is used to giving.

Great interview. O'Donnell really kept it together, very Zen.

Why is she suddenly talking??  She disappeared for awhile.
