Thinking of the Davids'
« on: September 02, 2006, 01:46:33 pm »
I'm worried about DavidNC, and his partner, who live in, or near, Wilmington N.C. I know that the coastline had significant damage, as well as many residents left with no electricity. Hoping they check in soon, and that they are safe. ???

Thanks Lisa,

I hope they are safe also. I knew there were wide spread power outages. If they lost their power hopefully it will be restored soon. I didn't exactly know where the David's were in North Corolina.

Hi Lisa,

I am hoping that the David's are ok as well. I live down in Florida and generally when a storm comes through, the city is without power for some days.

Sending good vibes to the couple in North Carolina!

Have the BEST Day!

Actually, they went away for the weekend to a campground...so I think they were not around for Ernesto.  Here's hoping they are having a great time!

If that's right Robert...three cheers for them!  I was Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm for the entirety of Labor Day weekend.  It's nice to know someone got a cheap thrill....

Hope all is well with you...I certainly enjoyed talking with you in Montreal.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the concern.  We missed the entire storm, except for some rain we drove through.  The weather was very nice in Georgia but I understand it rained quite a bit here.  There are small branches and debris in the yard, but nothing more than an aggravation.  It was nice to leave town for the storm, that's for sure!
