I think I'm fine but?
« on: August 17, 2007, 09:09:09 pm »
Hi,
I've read the welcome topic and also browsed through the site.
I had a massage in my hotel room in Bangkok, we didn't have sex but I fingered her. Now I was being careful as the finger doesn't have any cuts or abrasions and this part doesn't worry me.
What does worry me is that after I finished fingering her I masturbated myself to a climax straight away.  It's only later I realized I used the same hand I fingered her with, damn.
I wiped the finger thoroughly after but I'm not sure how I wiped the end of my Penis with the towel.

So after Fingering her and then possibly touching the head of my Penis near the opening with Vaginal secretions how much risk is there of catching HIV or even an STD?

I am happily married, we have unprotected sex ( my wife has her tubes tied ) but if I tell her she will kill me. What to do?

Sorry guys, I thought I was being careful, but I should have used my other hand to finish myself off.

Thanks

You are worrying needlessly without any sound basis in HIV science. Even if your hand had been dripping with juices from the woman you were with it would not have been a risk for you to have masturbated yourself with that hand.

HIV is a fragile virus and requires a much friendlier setting than your wet hand wanking yourself.

There's no need for further concern nor for testing.

Get on with your life.

Cheers,

Hi Andy,
              thanks for your reply.
today is 6 weeks, I thought I'd get tested to help ease my mind a bit. I know it's only definite after 12 weeks but most will test pos after 6.

I have gone over the scenario multiple times in my head and I'm positive I rubbed my finger with her juices on it over the opening on the Penis after I came to remove the drip. I know there's never been a case of someone catching HIV this way but surely if her juices are "pushed" into my opening then there must be a chance?

It's silly for a grown man with a good responsible job to think this way but hey................I'm only human.

I have had 2 colds in the last month and I know it's not really indicating HIV but I still get worried.

My wife is in Hospital with a recurring Psychiatric  problem and I'm left at home with our 5 YO son, so I guess I've been a bit run down with worry about her as well.

Thanks mate.

blunder,

You can go over the scenario as many times as you like, nothing that happend put you at risk for hiv infection. No chance. None.

Make sure you are using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple! Read through the three condom and lube links in my signature line - think of it as a refresher course.

You did not have a risk for hiv infection.

Thanks Ann and good evening from the other side of the world  :)

So your saying no need for a test?

I need to get my cholesterol checked again soon, so maybe I could get them to take a bit extra of my blood?

I'm a Coeliac and suffer from Gluten and this makes my immune system a little run down I think. I seem to get 4 colds a year now.

thanks

Blunder,

Yes, speak to your doctor about this if you need a negative result to put this behind you - you may as well while you're there. This incident will not have resulted in you being infected with hiv. You weren't at risk.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you won't be at risk in future either.
