Well thank goodness for that! Ric, you had me worried for a while there. This is one type of discharge I'm very happy to hear about! ;D ;) Good to hear you're on the mend and on the way home.

Winthrop Smith has published three collections of poetry: Ghetto: From The First Five; The Weigh-In: Collected Poems; Skin Check: New York Poems.  The last was published in December 2006.  He has a work-in-progress underway titled Starting Positions.

Its been a long time since two men have made me cry at the same time! SO pleased for you both, words can't express....Long may the good news continue.
