Title: Happy Birthday Mark! July 31
Post by: AlanBama on July 29, 2008, 10:20:21 pm: I wanted to make a special "LTS" forum post for Mark, who turns 51 on Thursday!

Mark, I hope you have a great birthday honey! I will so miss seeing you this year! Please have a wonderful time in M.C. with the gang, give everyone my love, and take lots of photos!

one of my favorite games when I was a little boy playing in the 'hood was "MOther May I?" (as in "mother may I take one giant step and one baby step?")

So, in a similar vein, "mOTHER, may I give you 51 swats?"

Thank you all for the well wishes and good thoughts.

I had a very nice get together with friends who refused to allow me to work passed 5 p.m.

We had a barbecue with fillet mignon, homemade posole and a good friend even baked a gluten free birthday cake - it was an orange spice cake with homemade orange frosting - all made from scratch.

It was wonderful - and it was gone in less than five minutes, so I guess everyone liked it.

Again, thanks for the well wishes and good thoughts. They are much appreciated and did indeed warm the cockles of my heart. ;D
