Cairo the leopard gecko. :D And others.
« on: January 07, 2008, 12:45:01 am »
I had a really fun day today. Me and my boyfriend went off to White Plains, NY to go to a reptile expo. We wound up coming home with MORE ANIMALS. Which we really didn't need. :/ Ugh. But, you know. Oh well.

I wound up taking home a lil male leopard gecko named Cairo and he wound up taking home two firebelly toads, a corn snake and some more madagascan hissing cockroaches.

I told him fifty bazillion infinity times that I did NOT want a snake in the house but. Whatever. It's done now and there's nothing I can do about it. But I was really annoyed for a good 20 minutes or so before I started to say how cute he was'n stuff. Just for the record.

Unnamed snake that I did NOT WANT IN THE HOUSE but who is pretty cute. Buh.

Cairo the leopard gecko! =D

So far the cat wants to eat all of them. But cat is kinda retarded and it just keeps scratching the outside of the container. We had to use a hammer and nails to poke airholes in the large storage bin I'm using as a terrarium for the gecko, so good luck cat.  ::)

I also got to meet a long time internet friend today at the expo which was reaaallly cool also. She turned out to be incredibly sweet and fun to be around and I really enjoyed her company.

I love the eyes on Cairo the gecko and the snake has wonderful markings - if the cat won't behave itself keep it outside - it looks at these as fodder

I hope they all have a happy home  - and I'm sure they will with you

The cat doesn't go outside, hahaha. There's a window upstairs that leads to a roof on the side of the house that we sometimes let him out on because he likes it, but he's a big fluffy Norwegian Forest Cat and if he spent any long periods of time outside he'd get his ass kicked. :P

speaking of getting one's ass kicked...did you go to the doctor yet?
