Not Playing By All The Rules!!!

It,s sad but true.That we sometimes know more than the doctors that are treating us.But what do you expect from a teaching hospital which I have had to go to most of the last twenty years.Just when you get a real doctor that knows whats is going on they are gone for this reason are that.That is why for about six years I took the Greyhound about twice a month to New Orleans to the Clinic which by the way is 133 miles one way.But it was worth the trips until Katrina hit then everyone was going to the clinic in my home town.I thought that since most all the people were here that the care we received would be better.Don,t get me wrong it was for a while then puff they were gone.Two thing I no longer have the energy for the trips an number two I no longer feel safe going to New Orleans by my self.And frankly even if I could muster up the courage I would not be able to afford it.They say you can put a price on you health.WRONG!!!

HEY  ,
            I'm in the same boat !

   My doctors come in once a week from a college in Saint Louis !

   It is a 240 mile round trip , My Partner ,bless his sole always wants to keep me company !

   His heart is so bad ,and He gets so tired and grouchy !

   It really is a strain on the trip , or a downer ?

   I wish I had  a doctor closer !

    I  hope you are doing well , I just deal with it .

    Love is forgiving . By the next day all is well ...............

    P.S.  have you checked with your care giver at the health Department ?
            I get   $89.00  for my trip to saint louis !

            It really helps out , most of my savings flew away    : (   oh well ?

            Can't cry over  sour milk ......................................

If I had the nerve to start going back to New Orleans were I was getting better health care.Don,t get me wrong the Bus fares is paid for of course would have to fight Medicaid to switch doctor another city.I used to know where I could go by myself in New Orleans but now it is dangerous for groups there.
