Road Trip!
« on: June 23, 2008, 10:32:06 am »
I'm leaving in about 30 minutes, driving down to see my Dad in Media, PA.  He had a recent operation after a fall, and he's doing outpatient rehab therapy now.  I love this man, and want him to live forever.

So tomorrow, on my way back, I'm going to swing by Philadelphia and have lunch with philly and bear60!  If I don't show up back online by Tuesday night, please ask the Philadelphia police to start searching abandoned lots in South Philly.  (just kidding guys!)

If they can't find my body, just put Phylicia under some neon lights for a few hours -- that should do the trick.

I'll post pictures upon my return.

Drive carefully. Enjoy your time with your Dad.

You, philly and joel...all three together, at the same time, same place.

It boggles my mind.

Definitely will be looking for the pictures.

Whatever Mary, we're more worried about them. Phillicia's a klonnie away from Sonny Von Bulow and the only way Joel can hurt you is if he accidently backs into you with his Rascal.

My klonnie refills are another week away, so you'll be disappointed with my lack of antics.  Peter will be getting the Grand Gastronomy Tour at the legendary Shank's & Evelyn's here in my hood.  Mouse can vouch for its fierceness.

As for asking the police to search in South Philly, I suspect they may have more luck heading straight for Philicia's bedroom. just saying.

Hal, I wanted to, but the boys elbowed me away from the cash register, and generously sprang for lunch.  I did manage to spring for some tasty gelato during my walk with Philly down South 9th Street.

I'm really glad I made this side-trip.  Joel has a heart of gold and a sexy twinkle in his eye, and Philicia has a combination of mischievousness and warmth that leaves me wanting more.

Thanks, guys, for the warm welcome.  Next time, it's my treat at your favorite dive in New York City.

xoxo

Hey
That is a good picture!
Lunch was fantastic at the neighborhood lunch counter called SHANK AND EVELYN'S.
It was a real pleasure to meet Peter.  He is  very straight forward and  very sensitive and very thoughtful.  He had taken a stroll through the Italian market and purchased a little gift for each of us....me and David.
It was just a shame that I had to go back to work,  so had to cut our great conversation short.
Thanks again Peter for stopping by to see us.
