At Home and Sick, YUCK!!!
« on: December 11, 2007, 10:07:33 am »
This morning at 1am I got up with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, the works. I hardly ever get sick, but when I do it's always GI lately and I pouring at both ends. (Sorry for the visual)  Just wanted to whine a little in hopes of feeling better. I hate calling in sick at work, but can't work from the toilet...at my job that is.

Aw, hope you feel better soon. Sounds like that bug dubbed the "winter vomiting virus" (which should last no more than 48 hours). You have my sympathy! Make sure you keep your liquid intake up - it's easy to get dehydrated when you've got that bug. If that is what you do indeed have, please know that you will be infectious for two days after the symptoms subside - and that is a legitimate way to take two days sick off work when you're actually feeling fine. (one of those "every cloud has a silver lining type thingies!)

Hugs,
Ann

I had that last year. It was not fun. Vomiting every 20 mins for 12 hours. I was like something out of the Exorcist.

I'm getting over an annoying head/chest cold now (finally feel a lot better). Hang in there and hope you feel better soon.
