I'm treated by the local VA hospital which provides the most incredible medical care that I've ever received. In one respect, it could be considered "public" health insurance as it's run by a government agency. I have been hoping for years that, should the government get into the business of healthcare, they would use my VA hospital as a model because I would love to see everyone get this caliber of care.

I have company insurance that serves me well and I'm scared shitless of job loads because I rely on it. Even teachers and municipal workers are facing job losses in this economy. Who is so confident that they would turn it down?

I agree with you on that ! I've also been with the VA for just about a year now. I have no complaints, and very happy with the care I receive.
