Hi everybody. It's been a very hard two months until we finally confirmed my bf + status (you can see my topic in the "Am i infected" section).
Basically, we used to have threesomes from time to time, always protected when intercourse, but not with oral sex... and despite what a lot of people think about oral not being a risk, we discovered a few days ago the last of our threesomes was hiv+ and I know for sure that my bf's contracted the virus by giving him oral (he was having some kind of bad oral health at that time).
Anyway, until now it seems like I have managed to stay negative, despite we had unprotected intercourse with my bf a few times after he contracted the virus (plus the situation I'm bottom with him). I have by now a 6 week negative antibodies test and I know i need to test again in a few weeks when the three months period finishes.
Being here now, and with all this situation produced in us both (you cannot imagine how stressful and full of negative things this lasts months have been), all we want to know is what kind of sexual life we can have right now, we're having mutual masturbation from time to time, and he gave me oral once..... we want to be sure we are not doing anything stupid... technically should we only consider risk situations the intercourse and if I being neg gives him oral? anything else (masturbation, fingering, rimming....) should be considered no risk practices? By now we believe that if we use condom when having penetration and when I gives him oral, everything is going to be ok... I would like to confirm this.
Thanks for your time, and I hope we can be in touch and share experiences and comments.

I forgot, my bf got his results back last week: CD4: 504 (17%), VL: 10.300.
The doctor said these values are kind of normal for now, and he suggested to test again in a few months and not to start medications at this time. What would you think about it? Thanks again.

My boyfriend is pos, and I am neg, we have been together for 7 years, and my last test test was a month or so ago.
We use condoms for anal, we have never used condoms for oral.
From what I have read on here and other places, nothing is "risk free", but condoms for anal is the best way to keep things safe, oral runs the risk of other std's but not HIV, I am not doctor, but even our doctor has said that he saw no problem with oral and not using condoms, and he is a well respected HIV specialist in our area and I trust his advice, he did advise to use condoms for anal and just make it a habit.
