ABOUT TRANSMISSION RISK
« on: June 08, 2017, 12:29:17 pm »
Hi. I have a sexual encounter which includes grinding and fingering. There was no anal penetration but there was rubbing of genitals around anal area. Also he fingered me in anal area and later grind his genitals there. We used lube for grinding.we didn't use condom we were not involved in anal penetration. I m worried if precum get mixed with lube and these things put me on high risk of transmission?? Please respond. Thank you.

Since there was no penetration, you are not at risk for HIV infection.

As far as your "grinding" activities and the use of lube, the HIV is fragile and does not survive exposure to oxygen and would not survive contact with lube outside the body.

Thank you for the response. But I also wanted to know what if that lube and precum mix got inside anal area while grinding? does it have transmission risk? or it has to be penetration for for hiv transmission?

It would not matter for the same reasons Patrick has already explained to you.
The virus is sexually transmitted though unprotected anal and vaginal intercourse, it is safe to move on.
