23 year wanting to reach out to find support
« on: December 09, 2013, 10:29:13 pm »
I'm 23 years old living in Alabama and was diagnosed hiv+ on my birthday last year(2012) at the end of a hospital stay. Since then a lot of things have just been going downhill (some my fault some not) including my ballet and dance training ending among other things. I just don't really know where to turn at this point support-wise or other. I'm couch surfing and have a few belongings but I can't seem to find a stable place to be especially since I desperately want to get back in school. Is there anyone with any advice on anything? I would really appreciate you sharing with me so that I can really start my life over again the right way.
feel free to email me personally as well /

You can contact Birmingham Aids Outreach . Also the social workers at UAB 1917 clinic can sometimes arrange emergency housing .

After you post 3 times on the forum you can send and receive personal messages so I removed the personal email from your post for your own security .
