Silent Strokes, Another Factor In Memory/Cognitive Loss

This story does not mention HIV.  It is a story about how researchers say millions of us have these small, silent strokes that can begin after age 30.  They don't cause noticable damage at first.  We don't know we have them.  The damage is cumulative.  Just thought it was interesting, as this could be another factor in memory/cognitive loss seen in people with HIV.  I would wonder whether people with HIV would be more likely to have these "silent strokes" than the general population, due to the increased risk for cardiovascular disease.
