Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

First let me say how wonderful all of you were to me a couple of years ago! Now my story I made some silly mistakes a few years ago, I'm a man had oral sex on me from woman I didn't know on a number of occasions, deep kissing, 1 time I had intercourse with out a condom for about a min. I then had a sore throat, lost some wt, loose stools for about a month, sores in my mouth, .joints ached, felt tired all the time, still do, night sweats, a rash on my genitals, numbness in feet and hands, etc. I had 3 maybe 4 tests all negative in the months that followed, still did not believe it. I just went back yesterday about 2 years since my encounters and had another test, got the results today, negative again! I'm telling you its stress, it does some wild things. Now i'm going back to the doc and going to find out if there's something else going on with me.

Does it matter that my test results had me classified as a woman? I am a man!

As long as you consistently use latex condoms when you have intercourse you are well protected against HIV transmission sexually.

If you're having physical concerns then your idea of checking things out with your doctor is exactly what you ought to be doing.

I just noticed that on my test results they had me down as a woman, would that make any difference Because I am a man?

I've merged your threads. Please keep all of your entries in this same thread as you have been asked to do before.

The rash is flat and reddish. It doesn't itch. It may appear on the body trunk, arms and legs. It can last a week or more and then disappear.

More to the point is whether you have had a risky incident which causes you to be concerned about symptoms. As you've probably been told before, neither the presence nor the absence of symptoms will ever tell you anything accurately about your HIV status. Only an HIV test at 13 weeks can give you that answer reliably.

my finger nails, a while ago I inserted a finger in a womans anal, and I might of had some cuts on my fingers! Should I be worried?

You have been asked a few times already to keep all your question in one thread, I have merged your post again so please keep all your questions in this thread from now on.

This is not an HIV situation, you have not put yourself at risk.

Oiler, you've been around here long enough to know the basics. Have you re-read our lesson on transmission? Even if you have, do it again. There's a link to it in the Welcome thread which opens this section.

The risks for transmission are few and very clear. And nothing you are presenting is in anyway a risk for transmission. You are worrying needlessly.
