Equality March in Washington DC this weekend
« on: October 07, 2009, 02:04:36 pm »
Hi All,

Anyone AM folks going to DC this weekend for what promises to be a historic gathering demanding EQUALITY in all civil matters.

I'll be on a bus very early AM on Sunday and participating in the March that day to the steps of the Capitol building.

Cheers to all.

Thanks for going to DC this Sunday Andy.  I know you have so much to add to a gathering, be it large or small with your knowledge and spirit, so do tell us all about it when you get back.  Regretfully I couldn't make it down there and my first reaction would be to say "next time" but hopefully the day will come when all people will have equality, justice and freedom" and next time won't be necessary.

Thanks, Jody. Very regrettably I was unable to go. Had to cancel because I have been sick post-flu shot for a few days and I realized that the long bus trip and marching weren't something I was up to doing.

I am feeling somewhat better today. It was the right decision for me to make and my thoughts are very much with everyone down there and waiting to hear from friends who went.

Cheers.

Too bad you couldn't come.  I have never seen so many young people at a march.  It almost feels like the torch has been passed to a generation that will actually do something with it.
