Accepted! :D
« on: December 19, 2007, 06:32:21 am »
Well, I got accepted into the school I applied to (the ONLY school I wound up applying to. Oops.)

Which is Clarion, over on the other side of Pennsylvania for me. But I'm excited. I got accepted in with a major in secondary education in english.

Which means if things go as planned I'll be an english teacher some day.

Keep an eye on your children. Bwahaha.

Congrats, Jaser!

I've always considered being a teacher to be a noble profession. OK, so I'm a fruitcake, but that's how I see it -- ideally.

Can't you just hear it? Jaser's cool but STRICT.

Jaser,

Congratulations! It's been a while since I was in high school, but there are a few teachers who whom I still think about. I envision you as being one of those teachers who makes a real difference in the lives of their students.

I'd love to hang out with you, Wee One but I am not in Clarion. Now if you would like to venture down to my neck of the woods then that is def cool with me....Not sure how far Clarion is from me. Isn't Clarion close to State College or Harrisburg? If so, then that is about 5 hours when the roads are good, not sure how long due to winter conditions...

Dude that is awesome! Although education sucks...being a secondary social studies teacher here. If I were you I would move to another country where you can smack em! Wish I had. Anyway if you need any help with your Ed classes let me know. I have 8 years experience....oh and ignore everything they say in those stupid Ed Psych classes. Most are so far out of touch with real classes that it is PATHETIC!

Proud of you bud!
