worried about contact with vaginal flluids

hi mods. first of all thanks for this great service you provide.

I'm writing to you to know if I should be worried. Today I did a quick cholesterol test, those that a little needle perforates your finger for blood. Later that, around 4 hours, I was with a women which I don't know HIV status and I touched her labia I think with that finger, never put the finger inside her vagina, but I could feel her wet.
Well, my worries come from the fact that I'm afraid of that "injury" on my finger is not completely closed (it still burns with alcohol) and may let the virus enters.
Have I any reason to be afraid and test for HIV?

You have not had a risk at all.  Sexual fluids are not a risk for infection.

The risk factors for HIV are ...

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth.
Very specific health care situations.

Use condoms for vaginal and anal sex consistently and correctly and you will avoid HIV infection, it is that simple.

This type of wound, caused from a needle that I had on my finger, can't be an entering spot for the virus even if not completely healed? Even if we touch sexual fluids or blood?

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in UNPROTECTED anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies. Once hiv finds itself outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect.

No risk . Unless you have unproductive penetrative anal or vaginal sex it was not a risk no matter what circumstances you throw in the mix .
