Since nobody has posted a thread about this day let me do so myself. I wish all the forum members a great Saint Patrick's Day and don't forget to wear something GREEN! So what green item are you going to wear or are wearing right now? I have a green t-shirt on!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

As an English-Semitic-Scottish-Slavic American, I'm afraid I can't wear anything green, or it would burn my skin.

However, here is a poem written by an early Medieval Irish scribe. It's called "Pangur Bán," which means "white cat" in Gaelic. The poem was found in a copy of St. Paul's Epistles.

I and Pangur Bán, my cat
'Tis a like task we are at;
Hunting mice is his delight
Hunting words I sit all night.

Better far than praise of men
'Tis to sit with book and pen;
Pangur bears me no ill will,
He too plies his simple skill.

'Tis a merry thing to see
At our tasks how glad are we,
When at home we sit and find
Entertainment to our mind.

Oftentimes a mouse will stray
In the hero Pangur's way:
Oftentimes my keen thought set
Takes a meaning in its net.

'Gainst the wall he sets his eye
Full and fierce and sharp and sly;
'Gainst the wall of knowledge I
All my little wisdom try.

When a mouse darts from its den,
O how glad is Pangur then!
O what gladness do I prove
When I solve the doubts I love!

So in peace our tasks we ply,
Pangur Bán, my cat, and I;
In our arts we find our bliss,
I have mine and he has his.

Practice every day has made
Pangur perfect in his trade;
I get wisdom day and night
Turning darkness into light.

In the interests of what appears to be St. Patrick's Day Preversion... I have girded my loins with the pair of Aiden Shaw's underroos that I stole a couple of summers ago. Wild times.

He's of Irish descent.

I have green boxers and military green briefs (which I am wearing right now). I used to have a lava-hot hunter green jock that got swiped from me. Wish I had that one right now...that would be the order of the day.

I have a party to go to tonight and I just bought a new outfit--including green shoes (Vans.) Abbey is coming over first so we'll take some pictures!

I grow four-leaf clovers, but they don't start coming out until May.

Ja,Ja! En verdad, no. Pero su historia me gusta y vestía de mi color favorito, el verde. San Sebastian y San Fransisco son mis santos preferidos. Ambos estan bien representados en el mundo del arte. Otra historia que me gusta es la de San Cristobal...su historia es muy interesante.
