2010 Hetero Cruise

Hetero woman interested in the October 2010 POZ Cruise.  Are you also a straight female thinking of attending solo?  I need a roommate for a balcony stateroom (I prefer the back of the ship to watch the dolphins and the birds that follow the wake).  Let me know if you're interested.  I'd prefer to be acquainted with someone before I agree to share a room with anyone for eight nights.

Wendy, I moved your thread from the AMG forum into the Living forum, where you might get more response. As six of your nine post to date have to do with tantric sex, most of us don't know much about you and I can't say that I'd expect many to answer. Just sayin'.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I would recommend relaxing about the rooming thing.... you aren't applying for a relationship, just a roommate.  Like you, whomever you are going on a cruise with has $1500 to $2500 in disposable income for a 1 week vacation.  That's not a small chunk of change and your new friend isn't desperate or likely to steal your underwear.

I coordinated a cruise for gay poz men and had several guests who were single and traveling alone.  They roomed up with strangers and things were just fine.  They "met" on the phone.

If this is beyond your comfort level.... the single supplement rate is not that much.  The important thing to any vacation is not being stressed and enjoying it.  Cruising is alot of fun and for the most part your room is a place to sleep, shower, dress, and store stuff.  The rest of the time you will very likely be at the pool, doing something, walking, eating, seeing shows, visiting awesome places.
Don't obsess over the wrong things.  Life isn't about your numbers, it isn't about this forum, it isn't about someone's opinion.  It's about getting out there and enjoying it.   I am a person with HIV - not the other way around.

Hey Wendy, does it have to be a woman?
I despise the song Love is in the Air, you should too.
