Our Dear Jan . . .
« on: December 31, 2008, 07:39:55 pm »
With the start of the New Year, our very own moderator and longtime supporter Jan (anniebc), now has a very legitimate title.  Henceforth, we can all refer to her as (drum roll, please):

Lady Jan of Kincavel.

She has been given a wee bit of sod in the Highlands of Scotland, her home country.  Kincavel is an estate dedicated to the preservation of the beautiful Highlands.  Both the deed to the property and the title (Laird or Lady) can be passed on to future generations.

Damn, the next step is Dame.

Happy New Year to all and especially Lady Jan.

Love and hugs to all, Ric & Thom

LOL..it's for real Basquo I'm officially now Lady Jan of Kincavel and have my wee piece of land up in the Highlands of my home land..my very special gift from Ric and Thom.

As Ric said it's an Estate dedicated to preserving some of the Highlands endangered species and is home to some rare flowers only grown in Scotland...and thanks to Ric and Thom I now own a little part of all that...but I think it only fair to mention (because Ric is too modest to say anything) that Ric is now known as Laird Richard of Kincavel...but you can just call us Sir and Ma'am when addressing us.. :D

BT..I'm looking for a beautiful hand maiden..are you looking for work?.. ;) ;D

Love and hugs
Jan :-*

Congratulations Ma'am (and Sir),

I hope you find a perfect hand maiden.

I can't think of a more appropriate and fitting title for one of the most special people I have ever known in my life.  Jan is a "Lady" who gives unconditionally, loves unconditionally, and can't read a map to save her life!

Congrats my sweet friend!

Having said that:   ::)

Ric:

Do you have any idea what you have set into motion?   :o

LORD!

I'm going on record right here and right now by saying if she thinks I'll be kissing her ring (or any part of her anatomy), well then she's got another thing coming!  I'm just saying!

And what's this about Betty being her "hand maiden"?  What the heck is a "hand maiden"?  Sounds similar to a "fluffer" on the set of a porn movie if you ask me!   :P

RAB

(Who considers Lady Missy What's Her Name to be his best friend--just don't quote me on that!)

P.S. Shouldn't "Kincavel" be called "Kinkyville"?  Just asking.   ;D

I think somebody is jealous :P (just saying Mr. "I've been here for 2wks and didn't know that there was a backdoor in our hotel - and that's where the liquor store was" - just sayin' ;D)

Rick, what an amazingly thoughtful gift!  Kudoes to you and congrats on the title.  Question: what does that make Thom?

Jan, I truly can't think of a better person to introduce me to Duncan McCloud and William Wallace ;).  I also don't think you need land and title to be called what we all know you already are: a true Lady in ever sense of the word.

Well Congrats Lady Jan!

I think that is a super gift.

Oh, by the way, I have the most delightful photo of you in the boat at the floating gardens in Mexico City.

I have printed it out and am going to frame it because every time I see it, it makes me smile and have a warm feeling inside.

Congrats to Laird Richard too!

Oh, and don't worry about ole you-know-who who is complaining about your title.

We all remember, thanks to his most recent escapade, he would have to be the court jester named Sir Klutz. ;)

HUGS,

Mark

Lady Jan faints after reading such filth and awaits her "Hand Maiden" to administer the smelling salts...oh boy will you keep.. ;D

Robert, I hate to be the one to point this out, but I think you are a bit long in the tooth for Harry. I think a more appropriate matching would be with Charles. ;D ;)
