High School Student Does Gay Porn To Help Mom

I read this story and saw his pic.  Immediately, I realized he did gay porn.  The photo tipped me off, as well as the word "lifestyle" thrown around.  According to reports, he was bullied by other students, for doing porn.  That also was a tip off.  I think he would have been met with high-fives, if he had done straight porn.  It took a second to confirm it was gay porn. 

He was 18 and legal.  When the minimum wage is $7.35 an hour, then I think many would weigh the best way to make the most money.  He was not selling drugs to other students and from what I can tell was not promoting his movie at school.  What do you all think?  When bullied, the school didn't punish the bullies, rather they punished him.  Do you think the school's response would have been the same, if it was straight porn?  I'm not sure.  I could see many schools reacting the same to straight porn.  However, I don't think he would have been bullied.  Well, unless he had a small pee-pee and kids made fun of that.  Some students have taken his side and threatened a walkout.  Being an adult while still in high school can cause many issues.  I sometimes wonder if students should graduate by age 17.

Ted one of those articles reports the principal did not punish him for the porn but for some sort of threats he made about the bullying, one assumes.

Unanswered questions - exactly how much did this job make him, to justify the price he is paying for the scandal?  How could the mother feel comfortable taking money - well - I guess that little family is desperate or very hip and modern. I dunno...

So it was gay for pay, or what?  Somehow it seems slightly less dire if he's gay for pay and did it on a lark, doesn't give a fuck about it, and made a good chunk of cash and helped out his home situation with it.

I think a bigger question is whether the allowable age to do porn should be increased to 21. 

18 is a very young age to consider the ramifications of doing porn.  Case in point.   You can't drink or smoke until your 21 but you can have sex on camera for money?

I told my best friend about it.  He asked for his name.  I gave him his name.  Well, it wasn't 30 seconds later he had the movie (and other movies) pulled up.  I laughed so hard how he had it pulled up that fast.  And, he never heard of him.  Hot guy.  He's bottom and bb in the Sean Coty films.

About that alleged threat-- I read the school said he threatened to bring weapons to school.  If that were the case, he would not be at school and would be arrested.  I don't buy that.

OK that guy is handsome, strapping and does it with gusto.  (Though its not at all my kind of porn.)

But the whole story is tawdry and sad.  I suppose he considered he would be discovered in this day and age, any gay guy in that HS would easily recognise him on Sean Cody and I'm sure there are a few who visit regularly enough. 

Maybe he didn't hide he fact all that much to his friends, who knows....

I find all the judgment in this thread rather amusing.....   "He's too young" "it's tawdry", "it's sad", etc.....  yet I'm sure everyone watches porn.  Where do you all think these porn stars come from?  He's not the first 18 yo to do porn!!
Will it affect his future -- who knows.  We all have stuff from our younger days that might come back to haunt us, but if he wasn't forced into the porn and is ok with his work, why should we judge.

I'm certainly not judging and am fortunate that none of my youthfulness was captured on tape.  OH, and I did have to google and watch him in action.  If that's gay for pay, he's one hell of an actor.   ;D

ps: I'm sure I read that what's-his-name Noel has stated he's bisexual, not straight/gay-for-pay.

I have no problems with people doing porn -- I've gone on dates with such people and dated ex-sex workers, etc. However it probably would have been prudent to engage in this activity after graduation... it's just kind of a common sense thing. But nobody here knows what dire financial situation his family was in at the time so maybe it made sense for him.

I think it depends a lot on the individual's attitude and self-esteem.

I've dated 2 former porn actors and both of them had problems with it later in life.  Somehow both of them linked their self-worth to their sexuality.

If someone can keep the two separate, then I think they'd be ok with doing porn.

There are a couple of non-explicit but still suggestive pics of me that circulate around the internet occasionally.  Fortunately my appearance has changed enough over the years that you'd never know they are me.
