Title: confused on available tests
Post by: needhelp on June 20, 2006, 12:57:31 pm
Hi

I had unprotected vaginal intercourse 6 weeks ago and have been experiencing some odd symptoms and need advice.

I am getting misleading info from differing sources.. no surpise there! Here are my questions;

is antigen always detectable when you are suffering from ARS?

would antibody always be detectable immediately after ARS has finished?

when people says the vast majority of people convert and are detectable in 6 weeks, what does vast majority really mean?

needhelp,

Can I ask why you are using different usernames while posting to our forums? Thus far, you have also used simple (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=825.0)

Please realize that this kind of activity is disrespectful of other forum members, as well as our moderators. People spend a considerable amount of time helping others in these forums. Using multiple accounts is at the very least annoying, if not deceiving and disrespectful of others. It is also against our Terms of Membership (http://forums.poz.com/Terms.htm) which you agreed to when you became a member. This information is also contained within the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0), which you should have read by now. So really, you have no excuse.

You must realize that the answers won't change, no matter how many names you post under.

I would appreciate a reply to this message, and I hope you will commit to using just one account - preferably your original one. If not, you will be banned from further access to the forums.

Ann

Sorry Ann, I feel very bad that I have deceived you and others, I am just desparate and feeling isolated without any concrete answers. Please delete this account and if you can forgive me I would like to continue to post using simple.

Simple,

You HAVE been given concrete answers, over and over and over again. Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection. You can't get much more concrete than that.

And by the way, I don't understand why you changed your mind over what you did. As Simple, all you said was that you got a blowjob. You never said a word about unprotected intercourse. I really hope you're not lying just to get us to tell you that your symptoms indicate infection. It doesn't matter what your risk factor is, symptoms still don't mean a thing. Lying about your risk compounds the insult you have already given us by creating a new acount contrary to our Terms of Membership and Posting Guidelines.

Please do go back to your Simple account and your Simple thread. Do not create a third account because if you do, you will be banned, no questions asked.

I'll lock this thread. Please go back to your original one. And please, no more lies or deceptions.

Ann
