Title: Dr. Casavantes versus Dr. Marcio Serra
Post by: Jose G on October 26, 2011, 03:17:54 pm
Hi every one,

I am glad to see every one has good comments about Dr. Casavantes. My question is: What about affordability in terms of different prices from doctor to doctor, is Dr. Marcio Serra worth the trip down to Rio since he is a lot cheaper than Dr. Casavantes and more experienced?...I have gotten level 4 lipoatrophy face and glutes and would love to find out more about getting all this corrected...I have been very depressed for the longest time, have no social life and not working at the moment but need to see myself looking better for my own sanity.
I live in Montreal, anybody from Canada wanting to go down to Rio or to the best, more affordable location in 2012?
Thanks a lot for your replies, I am new here.
Great Health to all,
Jose G.

Hi,
I met a couple who used a surgeon in Salt lake City for fillers implants lipo and surgery. What a transformation!
The center even gives you facials etc, they do everything. They said the prices are in line with stuff down in Mexico and about half the cost in Las Vegas and other places.  They have their own surgery center.
The main doc is DR. Kennedy.  They have a web site too.

I am interested very much in this subject. I don't know if my Atripla/Ziagen (7 years on it) combo has caused the decrease in my buttocks or is it just getting close to 40, I am 38. I have been in contact with Dr. Serra. He quickly responded to my email. He gave me an apx. estimate of cost.  I tried to get in contact with Dr. Casavantes and got no response. I also do not know how long I should wait before having treatment. Is it better to start earlier or wait til it becomes worse? Or is implants better. I really do not relish the surgery. 40 to 60 shots seems much easier. Either way, I intend to have some form of treatment.

Hi - I started going to Dr. Serra in 2001.  I used to spend winters in Rio, so he was local for me.  Over the years, I have returned to see him for facial touch-ups and major work on my butt, which had frighteningly wasted to empty pockets.  I went back for a touch-up in 2007. I still have a butt - a muscle butt, not as smooth as silicone, but not something to scare boys at the gym. I even receive compliments on it from time to time, which for a top, is still gratifying. I recently even posted a butt pic online, which I was afraid to do for many years. Dr. Serra is an excellent doctor, his English is completely fluent, although his staff varies.  I have taken boyfriends down there twice and they are happy with him as well. Anyone traveling to Rio is in for a wonderful experience. It is best to have 2 weeks there, since it is a long plane ride, and there is so much to do and see beyond the gay beach at Ipanema. I recommend renting a flat, since hotels are quite expensive.  You really need to have time to see him twice, as a follow-up is recommended.  With the butt, larger quantities are required, but metacril is like crazy glue - it hardens very quickly, and you are left really recouperating from the injection sites.  I was at the gym four days later. Metacril lasts, unlike Sculptra, and does not wander like silicone or bioalchemid. Feel free to ask me questions.
