Hey guys, would really appreciate your thoughts cause im going out of my mind. Sorry bout the how long this post is but im so desperate.

I definetly got an unprotected blowjob and handjob from a street prostitute when i was drunk over two weeks ago on vacation. I definetly didnt have penetrative sex with her but i cant remember if i touched her clitoris with the head of my penis a couple of times or if im paranoid because of my symptoms.

Does it have to be in the body? because im pretty sure i didnt put my penis in her vagina although i remember her asking me too.

My nerves are shot. Would really appreciate your opinions. However after 4-5 days i noticed a slight difference in the area around my groin and it had a strong resemblence to swollen lymph glands. As the day went on i started feeling sensations in my arm muscles and a couple of days later(a week after encounter)i woke up with pains in my joints and muscles and was developing some flu like symptoms during the day in work. The next day the swelling had gone down in the lymph glands but the pain in my joints and muscles had worsened, as did the sweating and flu symptoms. Later that day i noticed my tongue was white and feeling really dry and there was a burning sensation in my arms.

The pain in my joints has got a good bit worse the last 3 days in my right knee and left ankle and its unusual cause i havent played any sport since my vacation. Is there any way some of these symptoms are because of stress but i might have touched her clitoris with my penis.

The bottom line in this is whether you are certain you did not penetrate the woman in your situation. As long as it was only rubbing and touching, then you were not at risk for HIV and there is no need for testing. But if you have any doubts about that, then get tested at 13 weeks and collect what I expect will be a negative result. If you are sure no penetration took place, then testing is not necessary.

There is nothing HIV specific about your symptoms, but then I don't think you had a for real risk. Also, you need to know that neither the presence nor the absence of symptoms will ever tell you anything accurately about your HIV status. If you have a real risk sexually because of unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse, the only way to know your negative status reliably is by getting tested at 13 weeks.

Also, mixing excessive drinking with casual sex is something to be avoided. As you have learned it impairs your ability to make good decisions about your sexual activities among other things. I expect you to come out this incident ok.

Thanks for your opinion, ment to mention i had cramps for a couple of days after and sort of generally havent been feelin well the last 17 days or so. The symptoms in my legs are putting the fear of god into me because i havent been on my feet too much and iv been gettin sleep an all and cant explain them in conjuction with the other symptoms. Does unprotected oral not present a risk?

None of the "symptoms" you are concerned about are in any way HIV specific.

Hey sorry to post again but this is killing me. Im 100% sure that i didnt have penetrative sex with the prostitute but i might have nudged the head of my penis off her vagina a couple of times although im sure i didnt stick it in and i did have unprotected oral. Im just really worried cause my leg and ankle joints and muscles have been really sore the last few days and its very unusual, am i 100% not at risk do ya know or is it just my anxiety affecting me?

Nudging or rubbing or frottage are not the same as insertive intercourse. You have no cause for concern about HIV. You're busily misinterpreting physical symptoms as SIGNS OF HIV. They aren't. You should be discussing them with your doctor.

HIV is not your problem. Period.

Hey sorry to be postin again, its just iv been gettin mad back pain and continuous flu like symptoms in the last week and was wonderin, what if a guy had cum in her mouth a couple of minutes before if some of that was still on her tongue or in her mouth would that increase my risk

She could have had a mouthful of fresh cum in her mouth and it would not have made a difference. It doesn't matter what details you throw into the mix, that is not how HIV is transmitted.

There is nothing suggestive of HIV in any of your symptoms.

If you are going to continue to be caught up in fears about this issue, then get tested and collect the inevitable negative result. But testing for you would be strictly for your peace of mind and not because you have had a genuine risk.

Hey sorry to be posting again but I'm desperate and going out of my mind and struggling to cope with life.
A lot of the symptoms such as muscle and joint pain particularly in my knees, ankle and back is persisting, as is the fatigue and I'm gettin stomach cramps more often particularly in d right side. Iv now a mild itchiness and redness on the tip of my penis, my anus is mildly sore and there is a sore between by scrotum and anus from time to time. I haven't gone to my doctor yet kinda wanted to wait til gettin a full std test done after 13 weeks from a private clinic. I got one done after 8 and a half days and everything came back negative.I know this is a HIV/Aids related forum but the last answer calmed me a lot an helped me sleep but I'm extremely anxious again and depressed and i was wondering if ya could tell me
1)the STDs id be suspect to from oral sex and
2) if a negative result after 8 and a half days would rule any of them STDs out with it being so soon after. Sorry to post again but I'm desperate and iv a lot of respect for the moderators on this and I'm eternally grateful for finding this site and your opinions, thanks

There's nothing more we can say about HIV. And this is an HIV-specific site. If you have concerns about other STDs, that is something you are going to have to discuss when you keep your clinic date or with a healthcare provider.

That irritation on your penis could be from many things that have nothing to do with an STD.
