The wanderer returns

Ah, so this is what jet-lag feels like… ::)

I’m home. And I got me my own delightful case of jet-lag. At least I think its jet-lag. If jet-lag = sheer exhaustion, on and off blurry memory and general disorientation.

Well, I guess after a whirlwind trip of 5 days in San Francisco, 3 days in Las Vegas and 4 days in Arizona (including a 2 day road-trip across the desert) followed by a trip back across the pond, I should just be thankful I’m still functioning, albeit half-cocked.

This is a short post just to say:

AMG was a blast – huge thanks to everyone who made it possible!
Las Vegas was Tacky (with a capital T) but fun.
Arizona was unforgettable – a huge thanks to dear Tim (Moffie) for inviting me on that adventure.

I met some captivating folk, made some lovely new friends, experienced some amazing places, (including one of the wonders of the world close-up) and accumulated no less than 2845 photos. Not a bad catch in 12 days.

I had The Best Time. But I’m glad to be home now, with my kitties and my own bed.

And tomorrow I have my first day of work…yay! One day of supply teaching in a school where the head-teacher knows about my HIV status and is cool with it...double yay! And I have other days booked in for October…so triple yay!

I’ll be back with more words (+ photos) when I’m less all-over-the-place. Just wanted to check in…

Oh…and I’m outing myself here. No, not as a gay man (unfortunately!); I mean with my real name.

In recovery mode but happy. :)

So very nice to meet you also, and i'm glad you had a chance to travel around the Southwest after AMG. It's a beautiful part of the country.

Spot on, but this too shall pass.

You do realize that pyramid is fake, don't you?   ;D

I am very happy to have had the opportunity to hang out with you.  You have a kindly, peaceful presence, and even being near you is a very pleasant experience.

I still have your heart (the one you left in SF) and I keep it with me every day.

Until we meet again,
JR

btw:  is that Greek I see in your signature?

The baffled king composing Hallelujah!

It was a special time to meet you and exchange hugs.
I was so tickled to read you referred to Las Vegas as tacky. I agree. Mighty-dollar tacky Vegas.
Wasn't the Grand Canyon fantasitc.

Glad you are home and snuggled up with the cats. purring away.

Good to hear you made it home safe and sound.  I thought I was exhausted when I got home, but damn girl after reading the itinerary you had, you must REALLY be exhausted.

2800+ pictures?  Yikes!  That should be interesting to see.

Take care of yourself minxy one.  See you around forums town.
