Hi All,

Here's my story.
I was drunk and went to massage parlor for the Oral Sex with the Prostitute.
I have a bad habit of biting my nails and they often bleed where area near the nail becomes dark reddish.
Before getting in to Oral Sex I saw my finger little bleeding from the corner of the nail and some skin from the corner of the nail was torn out as such we can see red flash inside and some blood on it.
As we started I fucked her tits and Fingered deep inside with the same finger I saw was bleeding before engaging in Oral Sex.
There was huge vaginal secretions I can feel on my finger and hand.
Once we finished, I remembered that I fingered her with the same finger which was bleeding and every time I think makes me nervous.
As I stated the skin at the corner of the nail was torn out and I was able to see some blood on it and at the same time I fingered her ...could you tell me what are the chance of getting infected?
Since the cut was fresh, is it possible for the Mucous membrane to absorb the Vaginal secretion and infect me?
Every time I read the different forms drive me crazy..do I need to go for testing understanding the fact wound might have absorbed the secretions.. I am confused please help !!

Man,

Fingering (even with bitten, bleeding nails) is NOT a risk for HIV infection.

HIV is a fragile virus, it is transmitted in very particular ways. Those ways are:

Unprotected vaginal and anal sex;
Sharing contaminated injecting equipment such as needles and syringes;
In some cases from HIV positive mother to her unborn or nursing infant.

Even though you do not need to be tested over this specific encounter like all sexually active people, you should be having a full sexual health screening at least once a year. Twice is better. If it's been a while since your last screening or if you've not had one before, you should visit your doctor or local clinic.

Thank you Matty for your quick response.
I still very scared when I remind the cut on my finger and some blood on it and fingering the woman.
I am very new to sexual acts and haven't had the vaginal and anal sex before..
Wondering cut is cut regardless of you have it on Penis or the Finger can cause hiv..please correct me if I am wrong..
I have started developing some symptoms like neck pain, Bad Sore thorat heavy chest pain, back pain and shortness of breath..
Does his symptoms prove that I am infected?
Do you think if my genitals come in contact with her genitals can cause the infection..
Please help me.. do I have to go for testing..?

Symptoms prove nothing.

Only knowing what is a risk for infection and testing at the right time will tell you if you have HIV.

You were not at risk. You do not have to go for HIV testing because you fingered this girl. Your bleeding finger doesn't matter.

Q1 : - Wondering cut is cut regardless of you have it on Penis or the Finger can cause hiv....could you clarify this more..
The cut on the finger was pretty fresh..
Q2 :- if my penis comes in contact with her vagina can cause the infection..?? assuming she had large vaginal secretions ..however no intercourse happened..

I am not sure why "WHAT IF" kicks all of the time..
I am very nervous..

Man,

You CANNOT catch HIV from fingering with a cut on your finger no matter how fresh the cut is. Touching her vagina and getting secretions on your finger and then touching your penis also IS NOT a risk.

Let me say it again: you were NOT at risk of infection. You do NOT need an HIV test.

Small concern when one has a cut on the finger which has some fresh blood and comes in contact with the vaginal secretion or vaginal blood can't case the infection?
The same thing happens during the Sexual intercourse.. could you help me understand this..

Man,

As you have already been told, you have not had a risk for hiv infection.

Fingering and unprotected intercourse are nothing alike. Your fingers, regardless of cuts, do not have the type of cells present that hiv can infect. The places where these cells are present are in the lining of the urethra (where you pee from), the anus and the vagina. The are also present in the inner lining of the foreskin in uncircumcised men.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST FOR HIV SPECIFICALLY OVER ANY OF THE CONCERNS YOU BRING TO US, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

During the Oral Sex, both of us had no clothes and I actually topped her (However no penetration) so my concern is what if my tip of the penis came in contact with the vaginal fluid .. are there any chances for the infection .. as you stated hiv can infect the cells present on Urethra ..

Thanks Ann/ Matty..I got the point that Fingering is zero risk sexual activity..
It's already been 3.5 months I had the Fingering encounter..
By any chance if I had to go for any testing what preliminary testing do I have to go for to know the concurrent test results..

Keep it simple.

If you decide to test that would be strictly for your peace of mind since you didn't have a risk for HIV. You could take any approved/standard HIV test. If your symptoms persist you should discuss them with your doctor to find out what the real cause is because it's NOT HIV.

Check with any AIDS service organization in your area about where to get tested.

I had my blood tested today and reports will come tomorrow..
Very nervous though..
Could you tell me what are the normal cd4 cells for the hiv negative person..

There is no point in discussing CD4 counts with you - CD4 counts are not used to diagnose hiv.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv. What part of that do you not understand?

Hi Ann/Andy/Matty,

I really don't want to get banned..Sorry if I am posting necessary sometimes, it could be because of nervousness.
I had my hiv test done and results were negative..I am so relaxed now...I have started feeling fine now..
Never thought your mind can play such tricks..
Just a last question ..I had my test done in 3 months time of incident and results were negative..how concurrent 3 months test results are?
Were there any documented case where the 3 months test results proved wrong..Would you consider further testing..

Man,

Give it up. You don't have hiv because you didn't have a risk to begin with.

Even if you did have a risk (you did NOT), you are conclusively hiv negative.

There's nothing further we can do for you here. If you cannot accept the fact that you had NO RISK and that you do NOT HAVE HIV, then you need to work with a mental health professional to get to the bottom of your unwarranted fears.
