Sex with TS Sex Worker

I never thought I'd be on a forum explaining something like this but here it goes. This past Wednesday (the 13th) I met up with a transexual prostitute.  First time ever doing anything like this and I can guarantee you it will be the last time. I had protected insertive anal intercourse with this person that lasted for about a minute. I also performed oral sex on him (without a condom) and he performed oral sex on me (with a condom). What I'm concerned about is that I had protected receptive anal intercourse with this person. It only lasted about a minute and he/she ejaculated into the condom.  The condom didn't break and I know that condoms are something like 98-99% effective in preventing the transmission of HIV.  Should I be worried? My brain has been in overdrive filling me with anxiety thinking I got HIV from a tranny hooker. For what it's worth (probably not much), I asked about her HIV status and she said last time she was tested was March and she was negative and that due to the nature of her work she gets tested every 3 months.

What's my risk situation here?? I plan on getting tested in 3-4 weeks just to find out for sure one way or the other.

Your risk from the intercourse was none. You do not need to test for HIV over this incident. The reason why condoms are not 100% is because they can break caused mainly by human error.

In you incident the condom did not break and so it successfully offered you protection.

Why ask her about her HIV status, it's just really pointless when she tested or not, her results are meaningless to you. Instead you should simply focus on knowing your own HIV status and simply continue practicing safer sex.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions. As you are sexually active, it is highly recommended that you get a full sexual health check-up / screening at least annually including but not limited to hiv testing.

Remember that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's. So please do get fully tested regularly for all STI's including HIV and more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs. Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Finally use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, to avoid sexually transmitted hiv infection.
