Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

protected sex with a prostitute

Ok so yesterday I had protected sex with a prostitute for the second time. I used a condom she provided which did not break and we even used lube on it. It all lasted like a minute. I am still scared and petrified of catching anything should I be? When she put  on the condom she squeezed on my penis with her mouth a bit but I didn't feel any teeth u would feel that right? I wouldn't want it tearing. So yes after it was done the condom had not broken and the semen was in the tip so everything is ok right? I won't ever do this again but both times with a prostitute the condom didn't break. But still its scary. Please answer.

You did NOT have a risk in the situation your described . HIV is acquired though unprotected vaginal or anal sex so there wasn't even a remote possibility that you were infected from having sex with an intact condom . Put this behind you and move on .

Thank you so much jeff. P.s you would know if a condom broke or tore right? Ud feel teeth doing it right? That's some paranoia I know lol

Hi Brock , condoms are designed to fail catastrophically so yes , you would have known without a doubt if it had broken .

You really didn't have even the slightest of risk or I would have told you so .
