Oral is with ex drug addict
« on: March 18, 2014, 02:59:26 pm »

I am a gay male and I chatted with a guy online and we decided to meet. Since neither of us could host we met behind a restaurant in his car. He told me that he used to do heroine but that he has been sober for 9 months after going through treatment. He said he won't even drink beer now and is going to AA. He told me that he was clean and that he was checked when he went through treatment for his addictions and he told me he is clean. I even asked him the next day if he is 100% sure he doesn't have HIV and he told me yes. He also told me that he has never done anything with a guy before, and that he had a gf for five years. That's hard to believe. Anyway, I was drunk and I feel really disgusting, but I gave him a blow job in his car and he reciprocated. We also made out first. I sucked him off for a total of three minutes and when I jerked him off first I did notice a little bit of precum. He didn't ejaculate in my mouth so I am grateful for that. I had a shredded beef burrito about 2 hours before and after the incident I noticed there was a piece of shredded beef between my teeth near the gum so I'm worried that it might have been inflamed. I'm worried that he might have been positive. What if he is lying and hooks up with a lot of guys. Do I need to get tested because of this encounter? I also asked him the next day if he felt any teeth when I was blowing him and he said no. Should I be worried? Thank you.

Boxers,

Oral sex is not a risk for HIV infection.  The mouth contains various proteins and enzymes that damage HIV and render it unable to infect.

The risk factors for HIV are ...

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth.
Very specific healthcare situations.

Use condoms for vaginal and anal sex consistently and correctly and you will avoid HIV infection, it is that simple.

Joe

I had allergies at the time so my nose was a little bit runny. I'm worried that there may have been some pre cum on my hand and then I rubbed my nose. I was drunk so who knows, maybe my finger got in the nose. What if the pre cum got on the mucous membrane inside the nose?

You didn't have a risk giving a BJ or getting one . It really is safe to put this behind you .

Also, referring to a HIV negative person as clean is to infer those of us that live with HIV are dirty so the term is a bit offensive on this forum . You need not reply to this post ...  save your last post for another time .

I'm still worried that there may have been some pre cum on my hand or finger and then I rubbed my nose or even picked my nose anywhere from 2 minutes to an hour after the pre cum got on the finger. It was late so I might have even rubbed my eye because I was tired. Can you get infected that way? Should I just stop worrying and not bother getting tested over any of this?

At not time did you ever put yourself at risk of contracting HIV.

You did not have a risk from rubbing precum on your nose or eye . We really mean it when we say no risk because if you had a risk we would be begging you to go get tested ,
If you cant accept that you did not have a risk you can  go test and see for yourself that you are worried over nothing  .
