Hi everyone ive just registered because I'm finding it very hard to cope and was wondering if knowledgeable people on this site could help.

I have to start by saying I'm almost entirely sure ive been infected with hiv and the realization is pushing me to some very dark thoughts.
Two weeks ago i stupidly visited a prostitute and in the last couple of days have experienced flu like symptoms, headache, upset stomach and shivers that has kept me off work.
The activities i indulged in with this prostitute include rubbing my erect circumcised penis up and down her very wet vagina and possibly my penis slipped in on one or two occasions. So basically i was lying on top of her kissing and there was loads of genital contact(including my penis touching her anus vigorously). As i said she was very wet by this stage because i fingered here vagina and anus so there was vaginal secretions on my penis which in sure entered me. Another thing to point out was is that ive had two operations for urethral stricture in the past so the eye of my penis is very large and sometimes bleeds slightly.

I finished by receiving unprotected oral sex and finished in her mouth. I'm really sorry for the graphic nature ive described but in extremely depressed and really low at the moment. After we finished i asked her if she was clean and she said touch wood which made my heart sink. If she was willing to allow me to do the things i did then obviously others have done the same. She was in her 40s and im in my 20s.

ive ruined my entire life by being stupid.

If you penetrated her then you need to test for HIV and can do so at 6 weeks past any possible exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the results  . The risk factors for sexually transmitted HIV comes from unprotected anal and vaginal sex and not from rubbing and getting a blow job .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thankyou for the reply.
As i said there were a lot of vaginal secretions and maybe some pre-cum too. There was very close contact(i was actually massaging her wet vagina with my penis). I possibly entered her too and my symptoms after 2 weeks seem a lot like transmission has taken place.

Will get tested but i haven't got a good feeling about this.

You are going to be fine . The ONLY risk would be the insertive sex and that is on the lower of low risk . Brief insertions and dipping rarely result in the transmission of HIV but it is a risk and you will need to test .

Your symptoms are not specific to HIV and could be from many other things so that why we do not discuss symptoms .
