Hey Everyone,
I think this site is very beneficial to those who have questions about when to start HIV meds. It's free and it's called Project Inform. The site has a good easy to read break down of the federal guidelines, but also some other very important questions and advice to consider.

They also had free counselors to speak with and the one I talked to seemed very well informed. I don't push a lot of websites and I'm not selling anything, but thought the site alone is worth checking out if you are considering starting HIV meds. I'm not on any yet, but I thought I'd share this site.

We also have a very good information right here in the AIDSmeds Lessons:
Things You Should Know Before Starting Treatment (http://www.aidsmeds.com/lessons/StartHere5.htm)
The Big Treatment Questions (http://www.aidsmeds.com/lessons/StartHere6.htm)
Wesley, as you're new here, I'm thinking maybe you haven't found the rest of the website yet. Check out the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=277.0) for details! :)
It's always good to read from as many reputable sources as you can. Knowledge is power!

Hey Ann,
Thanks for that link and information as well. Oh, I forgot to mention that that Project Inform group has a toll free hotline as well. Once again, I'm not part of it or trying to sell anything. I just thought it was nice they had actual people to talk with who are well versed in HIV meds and have experience.
I will most definitely check out the links you have provided me. And, thanks again for putting my one post under the right category. I think I have it down now ;)

Thanks for the site info Austin.
I get my first lab results on Jan 4th so I may have to make a decision then considering the symptoms I am feeling.
