Performing oral and having HIV symptoms less than a week later

Hi there,

First of all, I just want to say that it's great that there is a forum like this and thank you in advance for any advice.

So I was at a gay sauna the other week (my first time out of drunken curiosity) and made sure condoms were used for anal (I was the insertive one) and didn't notice any breakages or slipping off. However, I did perform unprotected oral on a few men. I know that oral is meant to be low risk but 6 days after the night there, I noticed the glands in my throat had become swollen and 2 days later I had flu symptoms/diarrhea. I guess I am really concerned that perhaps my gums could possibly have been bleeding or my lip piercing allowed any pre cum to transmit HIV. There was no ejaculation in my mouth and didn't perform the oral for long.

Furthermore, I was exposed to scabies recently and had noticed some itchiness but didn't think it had effected me. However, last week (6 days after the sauna trip and when I noticed the swollen glands) I had an outbreak on my wrists, buttocks, inner elbow and feet. I assumed this was scabies and used the cream which inflamed my body the next day but it seems to be going away. I guess my concern came when I noticed the flu symptoms and read about a HIV rash that happens during the early infection phase.

I am wondering what you think my risk is and whether it sounds like my symptoms are possibly early HIV infection?

I plan to get tested and get tested yearly but am hoping for some advice while I wait for the correct time period to be tested.
