Absolutely nothing you did put you at risk for HIV transmission. You do need to read our lesson on Transmission. There's a link to it in the Welcome thread which opens this section.

The real risk for HIV transmission is either vaginal or anal intercourse. Everything else is more in the world of theoretical risk rather than actual. So you have no cause for further concern nor any need for HIV testing.

Get on with your life and keep the latex condoms handy for when you get around to intercourse.

Cheers,
Andy Velez

Pacts with God notwithstanding, remember about using condoms. Despite pacts hormones have a way of getting stirred up, so keep in mind what you need to do to protect yourself.

Nope, no risk. As long as there wasn't penetration there wasn't any risk. Rubbing closely, masturbation, mutual or not, fingering with vaginal secretions getting on to your penis, etc., are all irrelevant as far as HIV risk is concerned.

The real risks are unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse. Period.

Show it to your doctor if you have a concern. It's unrelated to HIV and this is an HIV website.

Jedi,

You gave us all that information in your first post. We have told you over and over again that nothing you did put you at risk for hiv infection. Our answers are NOT going to change.

NO RISK.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence. Use them correctly and consistently for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Jed-

People who live with HIV can go to college, get married, have children, etc. The dramatics are way overboard.

But as you were at no risk for contracting HIV, you'll not have to worry about such things. There are just a few ways a virus as fragile as HIV actually passes from an infected person:

1) Unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse;
2) Through sharing IV drug works;
3) From mother to child, but only in some cases.

As none of these things apply to you, you were never at risk.

Jedi,

You were told the other day to stay out of other people's threads. If you've read the Welcome Thread like you're supposed to, you would have read the following:

Quote
Only those Moderators and members who are authorized to answer questions in the Am I Infected? forum are permitted do so. Unauthorized responses may be deleted without permission of the poster. Repeatedly posting replies of this nature may result in a Time Out or permanent ban, at the discretion of the Moderator Team.

You've got two strikes now, if I catch you posting in other threads again, it's three strikes and you're on a time out. Got it? Good.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Jedi,

The Drama Down Under has good STI information but I don't think they have forums. Thing is, you HAVE to go to a doctor for diagnosis of ANY STI. Nobody can diagnose you over the internet.

But I'll tell you right now, what you're describing with the sex worker didn't put you at risk for anything other than a guilty conscience.

Jedi,

NO.

You're getting way over-the-top with this situation. You were not at risk for hiv in any way, shape or form.

Perhaps some counseling may help you deal with your anxieties. We cannot help you with that here.

Let me remind you of one of our posting guidelines which appears in the Welcome Thread you should have read by now:

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned.

Jedi,

This is the last time I'm going to tell you - you were not at risk for hiv in any way, shape or form. Yes, I've read about your scab. You were not at risk.

We have answered your quesions and there is nothing new to say - read reply #21 again.

jedi,

you need to take your penis to a doctor.  end of story.  no one here can possibly diagnose the creeping crud that has conquered your crotch, OK?  this is an HIV forum and you have already been told you did not have a risk in that area.  you have also been referred to another site for your mystery cock concerns.

we can't substitute for seeing an actual doctor, and if you need another STD forum site, try googling it or something.

thanks.

jedi,

You have run out of warnings. I'm giving you a twenty-eight day time out. Do not create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned, no questions asked.

Please use this time out see your doctor about your concerns. Counseling can help you learn to cope with your anxieties. You were not at risk and we can be of no further help.
