Its been 3 weeks since I met with a CSW, when we met she says to me that all her services are covered (protected).  I asked if she screens herself she says yes every 6 months.  Here's where I'm worried.  Before I met her (and this is embarrassing), I masturbated using conditioner.  Well I guess because of the conditioner or my vigorous rubbing I ended up with a rub sore or friction sore on the left top base of my penis where its close to pelvis and scrotum.  I'm guessing that sore was a couple or maybe a few hours old.  It was reddish and maybe a tad stingy...but I never saw any oozing or blood, thus i really don't know if that's considered broken skin.  But I ended up having protected sex with her for about 10 minutes. And it was vaginally and I was behind her on the all fours position (doggy).  I know that I used protection, however the area where my rubsore was at was not covered by the condom.  And I noticed that there was vaginal fluid on or near the area which wasn't protected.

The condom never failed so I'm glad for that, but I am really worried about the vaginal fluid being exposed to my friction/rub  sore.  I have no symptoms, but i cant stop thinking about the exposure to her fluids, and I'm afraid that maybe I had a micro opening or something that could put me at risk.  I don't know for sure if my sore touched her labia or sides of vagina or even went inside, if it did it was long due to the motion if that makes sense.  But i do know that vaginal fluid was on or near my area of the sore or irritation from my solo session beforehand .

Could you please explain my risk and should I be worried and what measures should i take.  Does this require that I take a test??  Please inform, as I'm really stressing about this.  Thank you very much  :'(

The female secretion where hiv has been shown to be present is the cervicovaginal fluid. This fluid is actually a thick mucus that covers and protects the cervix.
The fluid a woman produces when sexually excited comes from the Bartholin's glands, located on either side of the vaginal opening and those fluids are not infectious for HIV, you did not have risk being exposed to those lubricating fluids  .

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than HIV. Some of the other STDs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid HIV infection. It really is that simple!

Thanks Jeff, In my careerfield blood borne pathogens  are always drilled in our minds, and I was always told that vaginal fluids are a source for infection, so the bartholin glads are not a source for infection?  Also how severe would a sore have to be in order for it to be a risk?   SO can I basically shrug this off and move on?

The risk for sexually transmitted HIV is from unprotected vaginal or anal sex where the tip of your penis is uncovered and in contact with the infectious part of the vagina in your case specifically .

The fluids were are talking about are not infectious so you had no risk and need not worry in this instance . How large a wound would it take you ask, large enough that you would not be having sex in the first place .

We get this question often an no one has ever tested positive for HIV as a result of the concern .
