Kaletra/Combivir during pregnancy

Im 5 months pregnant and have been put of Kaletra and combivir, my numbers are great and this is the first time im taking meds. My concern is that these drugs are classified as category C drugs meaning no studies on the effects of the drugs during pregnancy on the foetus have been done. They even have warnings on the box that says do no take if pregnant. My specialist doctor says that these are the drugs that they normally prescribe for the pregnant ladies and have had no issue so far.

Are there any ladies that have had the experience of taking this combo during preganancy? what were the side effects experienced if any on yourself and the baby?

I'm 4 months pregnant and I'm taking Kaletra/Truvada.  From what I've read about the Kaletra there seems to be no known side effects.  I understand your concern though.  This is my 1st pregnancy but so far I feel fine.  I've been on this combo since the end of '05, so I didn't change anything when I became pregnant.

Yes myself I want to aslo say I am so happy for you both. i do hope one day I will become preggers as well...Still waiting for things to fall into place here...job wise before trying...but please do keep us updated on your progress and stuff.
