This Space for Rent
« on: September 09, 2006, 10:49:59 am »
Alrighty then...  I've been meaning to toss this around here for a couple of days.  I have a dilemma.

A few months ago, I met this gentlemen named Jeremy.  We had been hitting it off really well and I thought things where progressing nicely.

Then he was arrested...

I tried to arrange his $5000 bond by putting my car up to get him out of jail.  That was all good with the bondsman, but the problem was that I had not lived in Florida long enough and he said nobody would write a bond for me.  So Jeremy had to stick it out.

I made arraignments to go visit him and mailed him a letter to let him know that I had tried to get his bond and could not, but that I was coming on Friday to deposit some money in his commissary account.

On Friday, I checked with the jail to make sure everything was all good and I found out he had been released.  I called him and got his voice mail and left a message.  Didn't hear anything back.  I called a couple of days later and his mailbox was full and I couldn't leave a message.

A couple of days later, I got the letter returned.  He never got to see the letter and know how much I was trying to help him out.

I haven't heard from him since.

My question:
I know where he hangs out at and possible works.  Do I go up there and give him the letter that he never received and leave, leaving the ball in his court or do I toss the letter and get on with my life?

I do miss him and think of him often.

Does he have your address/telephone number? If he does he could get in touch with you.

What did he get busted for?

Patsy, you have to do what feels right for you. (That's the good news and the bad news).

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

He was charged with possession of Crystal Meth (which I had NO idea he was on).

He did have my phone number back on "our day".  I've been trying to figure this out for months... is he embarrassed about what happened?

I don't know...

I think that I would like to at least just give him the letter, wish him luck and after he reads it, if he wants to call, he can call.

Patsy

PS -- Did I mention he is a Hottie McButterpants?
