« on: August 02, 2014, 09:40:31 am »
Hi I am a 24 year heterosexual male. I have been testes hiv negative every 6 months after I became sexually active, but on june 14,2014 I had protected vaginal sex with a friend that I meet in college and while I was having sex I noticed that her vaginal fluid touch a infected pimple on my genital area. After we finish I went to the bathroom and took a piece of paper and clean all the genital area before I took out the condom but after I clean it the papel with genital fluids also touch one burn lesion that I had the same day on my finger tip. The lesion what very watery and I clean the area very fast with water and soap. After all of that I remove the condom.

On the 12 day post exposure- I develop abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, loss of appetite, fatigue, dizziness. Those symptoms last for 2 weeks and I lost 5 pounds.
I did a 3th generation elisa at 14 days and came back negative. Also I run all the std labs and came back negative.

At 45 days I did a 4th generation elisa(ag/ab) waiting for results. I know this test its going to say the true. Bu I would like to you what you guys think about my experience

On 46 daus post-exposure - I develop fever, arthargias.
On 48 days I develop sore throath.

You do not have HIV and are conclusively HIV negative . The fluids a woman makes when excited is not infectious for HIV, if present HIV resides deep in the vagina in a mucosa near the cervix ... the fluids a woman makes when excited comes from glands near the opening of the vagina and those fluids are not infectious for HIV.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I'm not being a smart mouth but I did read your question and understood it completely and the answer I gave is a firm one and will not change . You did not have a risk for HIV .

You should feel better . We get the pimple/vagina question all the time and no one has ever been infected from that concern because its not a risk ... so its safe to move on and put this behind you .
